Accounts Receivable Representative
SALARY: Hourly, Non-Exempt - $21.00 - $24.00/per hour
Typical workday is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; however, hours of department may change as necessary. Must be able to work additional hours when/if required.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Receivable Representative responsibilities cover a wide range of duties and are suited for an individual who wishes to be an integral member of the Finance Department in a diverse manufacturing entity. Typical tasks will include but are not limited to: daily cash application, invoicing, customer statement preparation, and customer account reconciliation. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily cash application – checks, wires, credit card payments
- Daily invoicing
- Monthly customer statement preparation
- Customer account reconciliation which includes adjustments
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and communicate effectively with customers regarding payment status.
- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper authorization and coding (VMI vendors)
- Maintain company vehicle registrations/expirations
- Pull D&B reports
- Credit card processing as needed
- Office Supply Ordering
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma is required or equivalent. Must have reading, verbal, computer and communication skills necessary to perform the assigned work. Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be able to work extra hours if necessary.
