Braun Passes ISO 9001:2015 Audit
SYRACUSE, NY: G.A. Braun announced they have passed their ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audit with zero non-conformances!
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world’s largest developer of quality standards. These standards contribute to making the development, manufacturing and supply of products and services more efficient, safer and cleaner. Surveillance audits are mandatory every year for two years, and a complete recertification must take place every third year to retain this prestigious recognition. This was Braun’s second recertification audit since becoming ISO certified in 2005.
“Braun is like a poster child for ISO. It is evident throughout the company that they have truly embraced the ISO quality management system. Braun has demonstrated that they use ISO as a platform for continual improvement of their processes, products, and most importantly, customer satisfaction as a result of their commitment”, stated Bob Gates, Lead Auditor, TUV-USA.
In August of 2005, Braun became the first such certified laundry equipment manufacturer in the United States. According to Braun President and CEO J.B. Werner, “I am very proud of the hard work and dedication of team Braun. We are enthusiastic in maintaining this continual improvement culture throughout our entire organizational processes and practices. Braun is committed to providing our customers with industry-leading quality products and services that meet their requirements and enhance their level of satisfaction. This only underscores our commitment to the industry.”
